The planetarium is located in the former cathedral bell tower called the Radziejowski Tower. It is equipped with Carl Zeiss camera, which displays on a dome with a diameter of 8 m images of the sky visible from any place on Earth, time of day and year. It shows in the artificial sky the way of the sun, planets, comets and artificial satellites as well as images of more than 6000 stars.
